The time has come for Midland ISD to choose new instructional materials for our English language arts and reading courses, grades K-8. Through Proclamation 2019, school districts across Texas are working with publishers to learn more about the available instructional materials that will be used in districts statewide in 2019-2020. These materials are cutting-edge and will help students be literate, critical thinkers who are ready for the 21st century.
We are excited to host our very own Instructional Materials Fair at Abell Junior High. During this event, attendees will be able to learn more about these exciting new instructional materials. Join us on January 17th from 5pm-8pm at Abell Junior High.
This session will last 40 minutes and is not "come and go." A representative will provide an overview of their available instructional materials in English and Spanish. This presentation will focus only on writing instructional materials.
